I love Japanese food! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert- all of the food looks very tasty. For the past few weeks, I have been researching Japanese cuisine that is easy to cook. A good friend of mine took a two week trip abroad to Tokyo, Japan last year. She told me all about the food she experienced there. From Karaage (カラーゲ）to steamed rice with furikake (ごはんとふりかけ), she loved all of what the usual Japanese cuisine had to offer. So, I decided to familiarize myself with the tastes and flavors of Japan (as best as I possibly could). So far, there are a vast majority of dishes I know I will like automatically such as ramen (ラメン), Omurice (オムライス), beef dishes, seafood dishes, and sushi (すし). There are some dishes I would like to try, especially the desserts!
For this post, I am leaving this open for discussion and questions. What type of Japanese dishes (Breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, desserts, appetizers, etc.) do you like? And, would you make it yourself at home?
